I have to simplify my life as much as possible since my disabled daughter takes more of my time than it used to.

As far back as I can remember, about age five, I have loved to read and write stories. In high school I began writing poetry. Over my long life (I was born in 1940 in Salt Lake City, Utah) I have won awards for and published personal essays, stories, and poems.
I have three daughters and a son, and eight grandchildren who are the lights of my life, as all of my children are, especially my second daughter who was injured in a car crash in 1986. I’ve been her caregiver for over 26 years.
It’s been a long, sometimes difficult, but ultimately rewarding journey.
Sending you Greetings and wishing both you and your daughter all the very best for 2013.. xox
Congratulations on maintaining the bestseller list, Ann
Hi Ann – you are definitely a comfort to many around you – and you deserve much success – you have been on one long journey. I loved In the Mirror – as I love memoir … we can learn so much along the way.
It’ll be good to have you back blogging at blogger when you can …
Big hugs to you both – Hilary
You are a born writer. It’s been in your blood from the beginning.
Congrats and love to you and Jen!
And long may it be so, Ann! x
That’s cool you are still a best seller!
